If you are an employer seeking advice on how to handle a protected disclosure made to you, the following resources may be of assistance to you.
The Workplace Relations Commission has prepared a Code of Practice giving guidance and setting out best practice to help employers, workers and their representatives understand the law in regard to the disclosure of information regarding wrongdoing in the workplace and how to deal with the disclosure of such information: workplacerelations.ie
The Integrity at Work (IAW) programme has been designed to help foster workplaces where people are supported to raise concerns of wrongdoing and act with integrity. Members can avail of a number of supports, including self assessment tools and access to information through the IAW Help Desk: integrityatwork.ie
