Making a protected disclosure is sometimes called ‘whistleblowing'.
Deciding to report a wrongdoing might be a big decision for you depending on your circumstances.
The Protected Disclosures Commissioner forwards your report of work-related wrongdoing to the most appropriate body for their initial assessment and follow-up. Where the Commissioner considers that there is no appropriate person, the Protected Disclosures Commissioner will accept the report.
