A Minister who receives a report must transmit the report to the Protected Disclosures Commissioner within 10 days of receipt.
A prescribed person may transmit a report received to the Protected Disclosures Commissioner if, having carried out an initial assessment, the prescribed person decides that the report concerns matters which are not within that prescribed person’s responsibility and where it cannot identify another appropriate prescribed person.
